Upcoming AAGT season to feature 100% purse paybacks, Web.com Tour exemptions, and sponsorship events

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (July 15, 2013) – The All-American Gateway Tour (AAGT) announced today details for their upcoming season and a “RISK FREE” membership sale as well as plans for additional expansion.

AAGT’s risk free membership sale opens August 1, 2013. Players will be able to register for free, but will not be charged until a minimum of 100 members have joined. The first 100 members will also receive a discounted membership rate of $1,250 instead of the full-priced $1,750 membership fee (a $500 savings). In addition, all 100 members will be automatically entered into a drawing for one of three free memberships.

In conjunction with its membership sale, AAGT released the details for its upcoming Fall, Winter and Spring Series, announcing a slate of fifteen 54-hole tournaments scheduled to be played October – April throughout the Phoenix area, plus a season-ending Tour Championship.

Each series will consist of five tournaments, featuring a 100% purse payback program, a cumulative “Points Race” to award a Web.com Tour playing exemption, as well as a one-day, 18-hole Sponsorship Event prior to each series that will award the winner with free entry into all five tournaments.

“We believe our new risk free membership sale for our upcoming season will appeal to the more than 300 members we had in our National Series, in addition to the countless other professional golfers who are working day in and day out to achieve their goal of playing on the PGA Tour,” said Holly Dean, Director of Marketing and Communications. “Since our inception, AAGT has served more than 3,400 players, with 168 AAGT alums currently playing on the Web.com and PGA Tour, while also paying out more than $43 million to players. With our new membership sale and series offerings, we continue to be the premier developmental tour for players.”

Tournament registration opens September 1, 2013 for all three series. Players will be able to register for a tournament for free and will not be charged until a minimum of 75 players have registered for the event. AAGT’s one of a kind, 100% purse program also gives players every incentive to sign up early and play for all of their money.

The member entry fee for the 15-tournament season is $13,500 ($900 per tournament), while 5-tournament series can be purchased for $5,000 ($1,000 per tournament) or $1,150 for individual tournament entry. Non-Members can purchase 5-tournament series for $6,250 ($1,250 per tournament) or individual entry for $1,350. Amateur entry is $600.

“In addition to all of these tour enhancements, we are also happy to announce that AAGT has partnered with Dakotakid Productions, owned by actor and golf enthusiast Josh Duhamel, to develop and market a documentary,” shared Dean. “The documentary is part of our ongoing effort to grow and promote the tour and our players and is just one more exciting addition to AAGT’s offerings.”

Because of the rapid growth and support of AAGT’s consolidation model, the tour has also confirmed their plans to expand its 2014 National Series with series details close to finalization.

With the new membership options and series enhancements, supporting vehicles like the golf documentary, and additional plans for expansion, AAGT officials expect the first 100 memberships to sell-out quickly and anticipate tournaments to reach capacity. If you are interested in the discounted membership and to ensure entry into the events, sign up early.
