The extraordinary rise in popularity of the Belgian golfer, Nicolas Colsaerts, has helped to make Belgium once again the ideal location to stage professional golf. These forces come together in the Kings of Golf, a fantastic new annual golf event supported by some of Belgium’s top-flight companies. This exhibition tournament will take place at the prestigious Royal Zoute Golf Club, Knokke-Heist, Belgium on 29th September 2013.
A CHALLENGE FOR CHARITY
The high point of the day will see Nicolas Colsaerts challenge Ryder Cup and European golf legends Sam Torrance, Ian Woosnam and Sergio Garcia in a charity exhibition match.
THE KINGS OF GOLF ZONE
Do you want to compare your swing to Nicolas on My Swinguru? Then come along and have some fun at The Kings of Golf Zone during your visit.
Swinguru will enhance the event with a unique experience for each visitor: Two My Swinguru bays will be installed and everyone will compare his swing with Nicolas, receiving his own video at the end of the experience! After your comparison with Nicolas, you’ll receive a full diagnostic of your swing – Will you be able to reach 20 stars?
The Kings of Golf Zone is located in a large tent near the first tee at Royal Zoute Golf Club and is free to all visitors.
SKINS GAME
The format of the tournament is a charity ‘skins’ game played over a 10 hole course. The holes to be played are number 6 on the Executive Course and numbers 10 to 18 on the Championship Course at Royal Zoute. Each hole carries a 1000Ì¢?å prize fund to be awarded to the winning player’s chosen charity at the prize giving ceremony. Should the players tie on a hole then that prize money will be decided by a shoot-out.
