#2 Ranked Player in Race to Dubai Putting with 2THUMB Grip in DP World Tour Championship
NOVI, MI – As the DP World Tour is winding down its 2024 season, several 2THUMB brand ambassadors have been in the spotlight. While Paul Waring shot a 6-under 66 on Sunday to win the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, 2THUMB brand ambassador and 12 time international and PGA Tour champion, Matt Wallace fell just short of claiming the win finishing T3 with a four-day total of 21 under.
The 34-year-old Englishman who attended Jacksonville State, captured the prestigious 2024 Omega European Masters, in early September, and climbed to the top of the 2025 European Ryder Cup standings after a dramatic playoff win.
“It’s given me an energy and a focus that I don’t think I’ve ever had before,” said Wallace. “I’m going to do everything I can now to be on that team.” Two months later, he sits third in the Ryder Cup rankings behind leader Tyrrell Hatton.
