CARLSBAD, Calif. (September 30, 2013) – Nippon Shaft recorded a runner-up finish over the weekend in a sudden-death playoff at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in St. Andrews, Scotland, on the European PGA Tour.
The 24-year-old Massachusetts native and former U.S. Amateur champion utilized the N.S. PRO MODUS” Tour 120 TX flex in his irons to shoot 23-under par 265 on rounds of 71-60-65-69 and finish in a tie for first with one other player. He lost to a birdie on the second hole of sudden death.
