Quick progress is being recorded at the newly established Asia Pacific Chapter of the Club Managers Association Of America. A high-powered team of professional club managers has been established that will help set objectives for the management team of the new chapter to deliver various programmes ranging from education, training and human resource development.
“We are delighted to have the expert guidance of the members of the Advisory Council and we regard their role as vitally important as the new chapter charts a developmental course for the club industry and the professionals involved in the industry,” explained Mike Sebastian, president of the Asia Pacific Chapter.
Besides the Advisory Council, a special Education Council has also been established to plan and deliver various educations programmes in the region. “Again, we have an excellent team on the Education Council and we can all look forward to some outstanding programmes being implemented in 2014,” said Sebastian
The Asia Pacific Chapter has also enlisted the support of Duane Morris & Selvam LLP, an international joint law venture firm based in Singapore to serve as legal advisers to the chapter.
It serves clients throughout Asia, as well as companies based in the Americas and Europe that are conducting business in Asia and Asian entities and individuals doing business in the Americas and the United Kingdom.
