Golf technology innovator collaborates with leading pressure mat company to bring increased functionality to 3D Doppler radars
ORLANDO, Fla. – December 18, 2013 – FlightScope®, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of 3D Doppler ball tracking monitors, golf radars and launch monitors for sports, today announces its newest product, the FlightScope-BodiTrak pressure mat. Made exclusively for the company’s professional X2 unit, the FlightScope branded pressure mat will wirelessly capture and measure center balance during a golf swing allowing users to quickly modify their swing to maximize performance.

The pressure mat system is able to determine a golfer’s balance pattern indoors, outdoors, uphill, downhill, on the putting green, and even in a sand trap. FlightScope has integrated the pressure data within the FlightScope PC software and FlightScope VX2 app, showing precisely where the pressure is on each foot during specific points during the club capture and collision phase. The pressure mat data is automatically synchronized with the golf swing. Golfers will be able to see their FlightScope data alongside their weight shift for the entire backswing and downswing, through impact.
