RICHARDSON, TX-ezLocator, which provides a unique software program designed to help golf courses manage the placement of pins more effectively and facilitate club communications, will be a featured product in the “Gadgets & Gizmos” school, scheduled Feb. 4, 2014 at the Shingle Creek Golf Club in Orlando.
Mike Richardson and Doug Karcher will be the featured speakers, presenting new and innovative technology that can help superintendents do their jobs more effectively. This will be the sixth year for the school to be held in conjunction with the Golf Industry Show.
“The school is unique from most of the education at the show in that we teach it on-site at a local golf course so we can allow the students to do some hands-on work with technology that we teach them,” said Richardson.
Richardson pointed out that the original focus was on agronomic technology, but now has evolved to include new technology such as ezLocator. “We are always looking for new innovations to demonstrate and we welcome companies to contact us about their technology,” Richardson added.
