(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) – Tom Hoch – a pioneer in revenue-based design and turn-key, design-build interior architecture solutions – has been selected by the Rookery at Marco for a major clubhouse renovation.
The project features a unique blend of high-energy spaces and timeless themes and décor. Indoor and outdoor areas will merge to create alfresco dining taking advantage of the South Florida weather.
The golf shop will be fully-modernized to meet the needs of today’s players, creating an efficient and enjoyable retail experience. Locker rooms, meeting rooms, common areas and exterior elements will be updated, and the Rookery Grill will be upgraded to include a separate lounge area for guests and members.
“Tom is a trusted partner and engaging his firm for the Rookery at Marco will breathe new life into the clubhouse,” says Chris Major, General Manager of Golf. “He understands how to balance the needs and amenities of members and guests while creating a sense of place.”
The design and build phases will take place in the spring and summer with completion targeted for the fall. Hoch and his team recently completed a similar project at nearby sister course, Hammock Bay, and designed the original interior for the Rookery at Marco clubhouse in 2006. Both courses are amenities of the acclaimed Marco Island Beach Resort near Naples, Fla.
“This renovation of the Rookery at Marco will enhance the customer’s experience from the first touch point to the last,” says Tom Hoch, president. “We look forward to delivering on the vision of this special property.”
Tom Hoch employs a unique blend of timeless, American craftsmanship and leading edge design-build systems. These inviting, comfortable and stunning gathering places are powerful marketing tools for owners, developers, membership directors and real-estate agents. Styles range from classic and neo-classic to contemporary and progressive.
