85% of players using Nippon Shaft made the cut at Augusta National
CARLSBAD, Calif. (April 13, 2015) – Nippon Shaft’s increasing presence on the PGA TOUR continued at last week’s Masters Tournament, as nearly one-third of the top 22 finishers used Nippon Shaft products in their irons.
Seven of the top 22 at Augusta National utilized various types of Nippon Shaft steel shafts in their irons while 11 of 13 Nippon Shaft users – 85 percent – made the 36-hole cut. Two finished in the top 10.

All four players who played the N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 130 made the cut. Three out of four players who played the N.S. PRO MODUS3 PROTO ST prototype shaft finished 12th or better. Two of the three players who used the N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 120 made the cut.
The one player who used N.S. PRO MODUS3 ORA prototype steel shafts in his irons finished T-6, and the player who used N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 125 finished T-22.
Nippon Shaft already has three PGA TOUR victories in the 2014-15 season.
