(SHELTON, Wash.) – Salish Cliffs Golf Club (www.salishcliffs.com) – amenity of the Squaxin Island Tribe’s Little Creek Casino Resort in Western Washington – is listed among the nation’s “Best Casino Courses, 2015” in Golfweek’s annual rankings.

Rated No. 9, Salish Cliffs joins Circling Raven (No. 25) as the only Pacific Northwest courses to earn best-casino-course distinction. Both courses were designed by Gene Bates. This recognition comes on the heels of Salish Cliffs rising to No. 39 in Golfweek’s “America’s Best Resort Courses, 2015.”

Golfweek deploys more than 700 experienced raters each year to survey thousands of courses based on variety of categories: holes, strength of conditioning, natural setting, routing, shaping and management.

“With so many outstanding properties on the list, being recognized in the top 10 nationally is a much-appreciated honor,” said Salish Cliffs Head Golf Professional David Kass, PGA. “We’re very proud of this special place and we wouldn’t be so successful without the vision, commitment and support from the Squaxin Island Tribe and Little Creek Casino Resort.”

With no surrounding development amid hundreds of forested acres, Salish Cliffs cascades through 600 feet of elevation change in the Kamilche Valley. The par-72 course offers 18 unique holes – each sporting photogenic views of pure Pacific Northwest scenery.

Located on the southern tip of the Puget Sound, the property is easily accessible for guests traveling from Seattle, Olympia, Tacoma and Portland.

In addition to its golf excellence, Salish Cliffs is popular for its post-round options, which include the casino, multiple restaurants, spa, lounges, top entertainment acts, stay-and-play packages, and a finely appointed resort that includes spectacular Native American artwork displayed amid the stone, glass and wood-themed décor.
