(Carlsbad, Calif., – July 12, 2017) – Blast Motion, the leader in mobile golf swing and stroke analysis and motion sensor technology, reports that four of the top 20 finishers at the PGA Tour’s Greenbrier Classic, including winner Xander Schauffele, use the Blast Golf sensor as part of their practice regimen.

Blast Golf combines portable motion sensor technology with advanced smartphone video capture and Blast Connect services, all from the convenience of an easy-to-use mobile app, to provide golfers with a complete improvement solution. Blast technology is trusted by over 175 of the best players and coaches in the world to help improve swing and stroke performance.

“I don’t coach without Blast. What I really love is its simplicity and the freedom Blast gives me to move from the course to the practice green, and I’m not pigeon holed in the studio,” said Derek Uyeda, coach to Schauffele. Added Uyeda, “With Xander, we work a lot on tempo, and he’s able to repeat his stroke timing because he’s worked so hard on it with Blast.”

Additional Blast Golf features:

• Smart Video Capture™ Technology – Integrated smartphone camera captures video, while the Blast app intelligently analyzes, clips, combines, and syncs swing metrics with the video.

• Adaptive Slow-mo Technology – High frame-rate capable video hardware allows the Blast app intelligently slows-down and speeds-up video, delivering highly detailed performance analysis.

• Smart Feedback – Voice announcements provide audible performance metrics, allowing players to stay focused on training and spend less time looking at their smartphone.

• Training Center – Over 80 in-app instructional videos cover getting started, Blast metrics, coaching drills, and pro tips.
