Congratulations to Katherine Kirk on her win at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic this past weekend. She finished 22 under par with a 266 total and drained a 10′ must-make, walk-off birdie putt on the last hole to secure her victory.
This is her third LPGA Tour win, but it has been seven years and over 150 starts since her last tour win. Katherine is from Australia and was an All-America college golfer at Pepperdine.
Congratulations also to Collins Trolio for his win in the Boys 12-13 C Division at the Pros of Tomorrow Junior Tournament, held at the Tupelo Country Club in Tupelo, Mississippi. It has been 25 years since his father VJ Trolio won this same event as a junior golfer. VJ is a co-inventor of the Putting Arc and a Golf Digest and Golf Magazine top instructor, and teaches at Old Waverly in West Point, Mississippi.
