Kennesaw, Ga. (November 1, 2017) – Yamaha Golf-Car Company has announced the appointment of Craig Sanford to regional manager – Eastern U.S. direct sales. Sanford will manage a sales force of eight in a five-state territory stretching from Tennessee to Florida.
Sanford was previously vice president of golf operations for Golf Unlimited, a golf management company with several properties in middle Tennessee. Prior to that he was tournament director for the BellSouth Senior Golf Classic, a Senior PGA Tour event played at Opryland Golf Course, now called the Gaylord Springs Golf Links, in Nashville, Tenn.
A native of Nashville, Sanford earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he was a letterman on the football team and was recognized as an Academic All-SEC Student Athlete. He lives in Mount Juliet, Tenn., with his wife and two children.
