CARLSBAD, Calif., January 8, 2018 — Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) announced today that international star Anirban Lahiri has joined its Tour Professional Staff. He will play Callaway woods, irons and wedges, an Odyssey putter, and a Callaway Chrome Soft ball.
Lahiri has won 18 professional tournaments around the world, appeared on two consecutive International Presidents Cup Teams (2015 and 2017), represented India in the 2016 Olympics, and first made headlines in the U.S. with his top-5 finish at the 2015 PGA Championship. He currently plays on the PGA, European and Asian Tours.
“Coming to Callaway was an easy decision for me,” Lahiri said. “Their drivers have been so good over the years. Working with Roger Cleveland on my wedges has opened up new ways for me to sharpen my short game. And I’m working on some really interesting ideas with the Odyssey Putter team. So everything is exciting.”
