(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – 9 Yards Golf Lounge announces the grand opening of its Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania location on Friday, May 31, a state-of-the-art venue featuring six golf bays, including two private bays, each equipped with Golfzon’s TwoVision simulator, the most technologically advanced model on the market. The venue is the first location in the Pittsburgh area to offer this world-class simulator experience.

Inspiration Behind 9 Yards Golf Lounge
Founded by Dr. Joel Warshaw, the inspiration for 9 Yards Golf Lounge came from a personal journey back into the game of golf after a decade-long hiatus. Dr. Warshaw was captivated by the cutting-edge Golfzon technology which has been ranked the No. 1 simulator globally by Golf Digest for five consecutive years. Recognizing a unique business opportunity, he decided to bring this unparalleled golfing experience to western Pennsylvania.

Exciting Tournaments, Competitions and Incredible Grand Prize
Customers will be able to participate in various tournaments and leagues, and to celebrate the grand opening, 9 Yards Golf Lounge will host a virtual golf tournament, the winners of which will receive six club seats at Acrisure Stadium for a Pittsburgh Steelers prime-time game this upcoming season. Registration is now open for the tournament where four-person teams will compete virtually on Pebble Beach Golf Links for the grand prize. Additional competitions include longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt, with prizes such as golf bags, balls and 9 Yards apparel up for grabs.
Golfzon Technology
Born from Golfzon’s decades of experience as the international leader in golf simulation technology, the TwoVision uses a 24-way directional moving swing plate that shifts under the golfer’s feet to recreate any real-life lie. Additional features include high-speed sensors that capture club head and ball flight data for incredibly realistic performance feedback, an auto-tee and ball-retrieval system, a virtual caddie to give players advice and multi-surface mats to imitate the fairway, rough and bunkers.
