Billy Casper Golf Pledges Nationwide Support of ‘Fifty for Father’
Pete Crozier to Play 50 Rounds in 50 States in 50 Days
Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – one of America’s largest owner-operators of golf courses, country clubs and resorts – will sponsor rounds at their courses across the country for the “Fifty for Father” initiative supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
In honor of his late father who passed from complications of Type 2 diabetes and his 15-year old son who battles Type 1 diabetes, Pete Crozier has pledged to raise awareness and $50,000 towards preventative research. He will do so by playing the sport his father loved – at 50 golf courses in 50 states in 50 days.
“We are privileged and humbled to be apart of this incredible journey for such an important cause,” says CEO Peter Hill, Billy Casper Golf. “Pete not only represents everything the game of golf is about, but everything life is about too. We wish him well on his 50-day trek.”

“As a son and a father of loved ones with diabetes, I deeply empathize with families who are struggling, physically and emotionally, with this devastating disease,” says Crozier. “While Type 1 diabetes is currently unpreventable, I believe donations from Fifty for Father can provide hope of someday finding a cure.”
