Magnolia Greens Golf Plantation in Wilmington, N.C., will host PGA Play Golf America Day on Saturday, April 18, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. … The Kingdom at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga., will add a TaylorMade-adidas Golf tour trailer to its facility starting in April. The trailer will custom-fit and build equipment for Kingdom guests. … Oban reports that the third-place finisher at the WGC-CA Championship used its Devotion 75 shaft. … Golf Channel adds Randall Mell as senior writer for GolfChannel.com. Mell will serve as a beat writer for golf’s professional tours, handling breaking news, features and opinion stories for the Web site, and will contribute to the network’s news reporting team on-site at PGA and LPGA tour events. … The Florida State Golf Association introduces individual one-day net traveling games, called FSGA One-Day events. Starting May 7, the FSGA One-Day events will travel to Tampa Bay-area courses. Each event will be 18 holes of individual net stroke play within flights. For information, visit www.fsga.org.

The Kraft Nabisco Championship, April 2-5 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif., will stage its first Kraft Experience. Free to all spectators, the Kraft Experience will feature more than 30 Kraft and Nabisco products and will have seating areas with televisions for spectators, golf swing evaluations from GolfTech, $10 GolfSmith coupons, golf memorabilia by Eagle Classics, and Barbie and Hot Wheel golf sets for children. The Experience will be open Monday-Friday, March 30-April 3, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, April 4-5, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Also, the tourney announces its Pro-Am Golf Stimulus Package, which offers amateur golfers a chance to play in the upcoming championship’s two-day celebrity pro-am for $5,500. The package includes two practice rounds, two pro-am rounds with a different LPGA player and social events.
