Cattails at Meadowview Announces Family Golf Festival

Come Enjoy a FUN Day of FREE Golf Activities at Cattails at Meadowview Golf Course

Golfers of all ages and abilities are invited to join their family members and experience a day on the golf course at Cattails at Meadowview on Saturday, June 22, 2019.  The event will take place at 1 pm to 4 pm.

The Marriott International Family Golf Festivalis open to golfers of all ages and skill levels, aligning with Marriott’s commitment to player development programs.  Families are invited to Cattails at Meadowview Golf Course for an exciting day of fun-filled activities, including FREE golf instruction, clinics, interactive golf games, contests, family golf programs, prize giveaways, food trucks and much more.

Under the guidance of PGA & LPGA Professionals, Cattails at Meadowview will offer a welcoming environment where entire families can learn and play the game together.  Meet World Long Drive Athlete, Trent Scruggs as he shares tips increase your distance off the tee.  Cheer on your favorite local media professional as they compete in the Media World Long Drive; Representatives will be available from The First Tee, PGA Jr. League, LPGA, TaylorMade, golf AMPLIFIED, and Cattails at Meadowview professional staff.

In addition to the events at the one-day Family Golf Festivals, after 3 p.m.  Take advantage of special rates and children can play golf for free as part of Marriott Golf’s “Kids Golf-4-Free” program.  Launched in 2006, “Kids Golf-4-Free” enables kids up to 15-years old to golf for free when accompanied by a full paying adult after 3 p.m. In addition, Marriott Golf offers free lessons anytime to kids up to 15-years old when accompanied by an adult who is taking a fully paid lesson from a Marriott Golf instructor.

Opened in 1998, Cattails at Meadowview in Kingsport, Tennessee is recognized as one of the top public golf courses in Tennessee. The course, a Denis Griffiths design, features Bermuda fairways and Bent-grass greens, boasting picturesque holes that lie at the base of scenic Bays Mountain.
