Longtime Bobby Jones Links Team Member Appointed to Leadership Role as General Manager at Cobblestone Park Golf Club
Atlanta-based national club management firm Bobby Jones Links is excited to announce the appointment of Emzi Wewers to the role of General Manager at Cobblestone Park Golf Club. Having worked for Bobby Jones Links properties since 2009, Wewers previously served as the General Manager at I’On Club in Mount Pleasant, SC.
A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Wewers brings to the Cobblestone Park team 17 years of experience in all areas of hospitality and club operations. During that time, Wewers has been an integral part of the South Carolina club community, having held positions at premier private and public clubs in the area.

Wewers began her career at Patriots Point Links in Mount Pleasant, SC assisting in accounting efforts and catering sales and then transferred to RiverTowne Country Club where she spent 10 years in club operations, golf, membership and catering. Following her time at RiverTowne, Wewers joined the I’On Club team as the Director of Membership in 2015 before being appointed to the General Manager position in 2017.
Wewers’ impressive portfolio of club and hospitality operations experience includes involvement in membership retention and growth initiatives, large scale tournament and event management, golf operations, food and beverage operations and implementation of community enhancements.
