The Concession Golf Club (Sarasota, Fla.): To host the season-ending IMG Junior Golf Tour Championship, May 11-13.

Club at Victory Ranch (Park City, Utah): Ranked No. 94 Golfweek’s Top 100 Best Residential Courses in the Country list for 2012.

Chambers Bay (University Place, Wash.): To maintain its 250-acre golf course free of gas on Earth Day, Sunday, April 22. Chambers Bay superintendent David Wienecke has arranged for Jacobsen, an equipment manufacturer, and RMT Equipment, a golf supply company, to provide electric mowers, greens rollers, bunker rakes and utility vehicles for the day.

Creighton Farms (Aldie, Va.): Opens its Clubhouse at Creighton Farms, a 34,000-square-foot structure that offers dining, event space, full-service locker rooms, club rooms and a fitness / spa center for club members.

Sun Valley Resort (Sun Valley, Idaho): To open the front nine holes of its Trail Creek course, weather permitting, on Saturday, April 21.

Metedeconk National Golf Club (Jackson, N.J.): To host the inaugural Metedeconk Prep Challenge on May 20. The tournament will feature many of New Jersey’s top private schools represented.

Salish Cliffs Golf Club (Shelton, Wash.): Becomes the first Salmon-Safe-certified course in the world after successfully passing an assessment verifying the Squaxin Island Tribe’s commitment to protecting native habitat, managing water runoff, reducing pesticides and advancing environmental practices throughout the region.

Pristine Bay Resort (Roatan, Honduras): Pete and Perry Dye-designed The Black Pearl course is ranked No. 1 in Honduras by Golf Digest.

Nags Head Golf Links (Nags Head, N.C.): Reports on its history and being “the longest 6,126 yards you’ll ever play,” according to a Golf Digest article soon after its opening in 1988.

Pasatiempo Golf Club (Santa Cruz, Calif.): To host the 66th Western Intercollegiate April 14-15 with a field that includes recent Masters low amateur Patrick Cantlay of UCLA, who is the No. 1-ranked player in the world.

Heritage Golf Group: Announces that TPC Tampa Bay in Lutz, Fla., has been named among Golf World’s 100 Best Golf Shops for 2012. The list consists of 25 shops in each of four categories – private, resort, public and off-course. TPC Tampa Bay was ranked in the public sector.
