Golf Digest Names Yamaha Drive2  Quietech® Best Gas-Powered Golf Car

Kennesaw, Georgia (May 3, 2018) – Golf Digest recently released its third annual Editor’s Choice Awards; and for the second year in a row, Yamaha’s Drive2 QuieTech® gas car was awarded their 2018 Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Award for Best Gas Golf Car. With this program, Golf Digest provides their readers with the “Best Things in Golf” to give golfers expert insight on what can create the greatest possible game experience.

“We are honored that Golf Digest has recognized the Drive2 QuieTech® for the second year in a row as the best gas golf car in the industry. Our QuieTech® car is almost as quiet as an electric with the comfort of four-wheel, independent suspension, which makes it immediately stand out from the crowd. This golf car allows for significant fleet operation savings for owners and is yet another testament to the quality and performance of the machines that Yamaha creates,” said Tom McDonald, President, Yamaha Golf-Car Company.

Winning the 2018 Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Award for Best Gas Golf Car marks, what the Yamaha team is looking forward to being, the start of many more 2018 wins-more specifically, wins in the electric golf car category as Yamaha’s innovative Drive2 PowerTech® and Drive2 DC gain steam in the industry.
