K-MOTION Releases ‘Smart Tiles’ with Launch Monitor Integration
K-Coach Now the Simplest Place to View Cause and Effect Data Side-By-Side
(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) K-MOTION – the leader in 3D evaluations and biofeedback training technology for coaches and athletes – announces its brand-new Smart Tiles feature is now available with launch monitor integration.
The recently launched Smart Tiles feature allows coaches and players to instantly view and compare 3D metrics between any two swings to change movement patterns faster. Now, coaches and players can easily monitor and compare 3D body and wrist metrics (cause data) and launch monitor numbers (effect data) side-by-side on the same screen, providing golf’s most complete picture of the swing. Smart Tiles seamlessly integrates with several FlightScope and Foresight launch monitor models.
“K-Coach continues to evolve into the most effective coaching and training solution in golf, with Smart Tiles taking it to new heights,” says K-MOTION Head of Education Joe DiChiara. “Smart Tiles’ ability to train and track progress of the swing combined with the results shown from ball data guarantees coaches are equipped with the most efficient teaching tools on the market.”
“The body-swing connection is perhaps the most powerful dynamic in modern golf coaching,” says Mark Blackburn, a Golf Digest Top-50 and GOLF Magazine Top-100 instructor. “Now, K-Coach’s Smart Tiles with launch monitor integration seamlessly merges 3D data with club delivery numbers to identify, measure and train that body-swing connection. This product will be a catalyst for better coaching and motor learning practices moving forward.”
Blackburn will host a webinar on March 18 at 4 p.m. EST covering the correlation of 3D and launch monitor data through Smart Tiles. Free of charge and open to anyone, registration for the webinar is available here: Mark Blackburn Webinar: My Top Matchups.
After capturing a player’s 3D data, the coach selects key areas of the swing to work on and then compares each future shot to the player’s saved swing or PGA/LPGA Tour averages. The Smart Tiles will turn green, yellow or red to indicate accuracy to the compared swing. Click here to watch a video of the feature.
There are Smart Tiles for nearly every data point that’s needed to properly coach and monitor a player’s ideal swing, including tempo, body positions, wrist angles, peak swing speed, swing sequencing and more. The experience is fully customizable and gives coaches the ability to interchange viewable data based on each player’s desired area of improvement. Coaches can compare as little as one tile or as many as 12.
