The Red Label found itself at the top of the leaderboard after an impressive Team Effort! The winner had KBS C-Taper 125S+ shafts in his TaylorMade irons. The duo opened the tournament with a dominant round of 58 and followed with a score of 66 on Saturday. Sunday, the windy weather conditions tested the players at Tiburon Golf Club. The Team started out slow with a front nine score of 2 under, which put them out of the top spot. The Unphased players birdied holes 10 and 12 to tie for the lead. As the back nine continued they would need to bridie one of the last four holes to take the lead, since their opponents had already finished with a low round of 60. The duo remained calm by birdieing the 17th followed by a par at the last hole to secure the victory. The 36-year-old Tour veteran claimed his second victory of his 2023 season and his team mate won her first tournament since 2022. Congratulations go out to the Winner’s and all the players in the field at the Grant Thornton Invitational! | Player Driven. Tour Proven. |
