NEW YORK, NEW YORK – PGA of America President John Lindert today announced that Keegan Bradley will serve as Captain of the United States Ryder Cup Team for the 45th Ryder Cup, which will be played September 26-28, 2025, at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York.
The Woodstock, Vermont, native is the 31st U.S. Captain since the Ryder Cup’s inception in 1927. Bradley made his Ryder Cup debut in 2012 at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois, where he won his first three matches and finished with a 3-1-0 record. The 38-year-old Bradley competed in his second Ryder Cup in 2014 at Gleneagles in Scotland, and owns a career Ryder Cup record of 4-3-0 including 2-1-0 in foursomes and 2-0-0 in four-ball.
“I am proud and excited to name Keegan Bradley as Captain of the 2025 United States Ryder Cup Team,” said Lindert, PGA Director of Golf at The Country Club of Lansing. “Keegan’s past Ryder Cup experience, strong relationships and unwavering passion for this event will prove invaluable as he guides the U.S. Team over the next year and a half. We are confident that with Keegan at the helm, the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup Team will compete at Bethpage with the same confidence and determination that has defined his career.”
Bradley turned professional in 2008 following a standout collegiate career at St John’s University. He has collected eight worldwide victories and 58 top-10 finishes in 347 PGA TOUR events. He captured his first major title in 2011 at Atlanta Athletic Club, where he rallied to win the PGA Championship in a playoff. Bradley compiled a 2-2-1 record at the 2013 Presidents Cup to help the U.S. to an 18 ½ to 15 ½ victory.
“I am incredibly honored to accept this opportunity to Captain the United States Team at the 2025 Ryder Cup,” said Bradley. “I would like to thank the PGA of America Ryder Cup Committee for their trust in me as we embark on this journey to Bethpage Black.
“My passion and appreciation for golf’s greatest team event have never been stronger. The Ryder Cup is unlike any other competition in our sport, and this edition will undoubtedly be particularly special given the rich history and enthusiastic spectators at this iconic course. I look forward to beginning preparations for 2025.”
