Will Make First Professional Start at the 2025 Evian Championship
Évian-les-Bains, France – Amateur golf star Mirabel Ting has officially announced her decision to turn professional, with her debut coming on one of the sport’s most prestigious stages — The Amundi Evian Championship, one of the five major championships in women’s golf.
The 19-year-old Malaysian sensation, known for her remarkable amateur career and dynamic presence on the course, is the #2 ranked amateur in the world and recipient of the 2025 Annika Award. Ting has won eleven of her last twenty-five amateur tournaments around the world as an individual.
“Turning professional at the Evian Championship is a dream come true,” said Ting. “I’ve worked incredibly hard to get to this point, and I’m excited to take the next step in my journey as a professional. Partnering with Fidelity Sports Group gives me a team that understands my goals on and off the course. I’m looking forward to building a great future together and to having a successful career around the world.”
Ting’s amateur resume includes multiple international victories, consistently dominant performances in collegiate golf as a member of the Florida State Women’s Golf Team, and representing Malaysia on the global stage. As the recipient of the 2025 Annika Award, Mirabel was recognized for a truly dominant season as the #1 player in NCAA Women’s golf. Her season included a scoring average of 67.1, five individual wins, eight Top 3 finishes and a runner-up finish at the NCAA National Championship. All told, Mirabel faced a total of 786 competitors during her 2024-2025 schedule at Florida State University and had an overall record of 770 wins, 10 loses and 6 ties.
“Mirabel has had an incredible amateur career and truly embodies what the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel stands for — excellence, determination, and sportsmanship” said Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam, “watching her dominate at the collegiate level and now take a new leap into the professional ranks is exciting. I wish her the best.”
Ting has signed with Fidelity Sports Group for exclusive representation and career management for her global professional career. Fidelity Sports Group will manage Ting’s career across competition, endorsements, media, and business development. Mirabel will be co-represented and managed by FSG’s CEO David Moorman and President Drew Carr.
