Country Club of the Rockies and Stock Farm Partner with CaddieNow
Two prestigious courses enhance existing caddie programs to reflect premium member experiences
CaddieNow, the nation’s most trusted caddie program, has announced partnerships with Country Club of the Rockies in Edwards, Colorado, and Stock Farm Club in Hamilton, Montana. The ability to provide members with the rewarding experience of taking a caddie led both courses to partner with CaddieNow.
Country Club of the Rockies, a Nicklaus signature, situated in the Vail Valley, has had an existing caddie program since the course opened in 1984, but needed help maintaining caddies and using technology to book and monitor caddie rounds. CaddieNow has customized a program for Country Club of the Rockies to support orientations, certifications, and recruiting, as well as member and community communications.
“We have a strong desire to enhance our brand and feel, and having a quality caddie program protects the club’s status as an elite, high-end private golf club,” said the club’s General Manager Bill Hughes, who has been involved in the development and management of caddie programs at private clubs across the country for decades. “There is one common theme in determining the success or failure of a club operating at this level—the sustainability of a rich and robust caddie program.”
Stock Farm, located in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley, has used caddies since 1999. The Tom Fazio course partnered with CaddieNow in May, transitioning its existing caddie program to a more robust offering featuring Concierge (a CaddieNow feature that allows staff to access caddies and members via push, text, or email notifications). CaddieNow is also assisting in transitioning existing caddies into true independent contractors, a move that protects the course and allows caddies the flexibility to accept loops when they are available.
