NIPPON SHAFT RECORDS 23 VICTORIES WORLDWIDE IN 2020
CARLSBAD, Calif. – The year 2020 saw Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series of steel shafts win a total of 23 professional tournaments on prestigious tours worldwide despite the cancelation of many events because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The MODUS³ series now has racked up 225 victories in 10 seasons on pro circuits around the globe.
The victory breakdown was:
- PGA Tour – 7
- European Tour – 5
- Korn Ferry Tour – 6
- Champions Tour – 2
- LPGA Japan – 3

Three shafts accounted for 18 wins – the MODUS³ Tour 120 (7 wins), the Tour 105 (6 wins) and the Tour 130 (5 wins). The Tour 125 had one victory and four Prototype shafts accounted four wins.
More than 200 players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, European Tour and Korn Ferry Tour use Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series steel shafts to help gain their desired distance, accuracy and trajectory.
