CARLSBAD, Calif. – The winner, runner-up and two players who tied for third place all played Nippon Shaft products enroute to their outstanding finishes at the DP World Tour’s SDC Championship at St. Francis Links in East Cape, South Africa.
The 37-year-old Englishman won his first DP World Tour event in style, using Nippon Shaft N.S.PRO MODUS³ N.S.PRO 120 X flex steel shafts in his irons to shoot 18-under par and win by seven shots. He recorded rounds of 70-67-65-68—270 and earned €239,186 ($245,048) for his performance.
The runner-up, who finished at 11-under, used N.S.PRO MODUS³ WV 125 steel shafts in his wedges. Two players who shot 10-under and tied for third both used the N.S.PRO MODUS³ N.S. PRO 120 X flex steel shafts in their irons.
