Golf Digest Releases 17th Annual Golf Ball Hot List
BUFFALO, NY – OnCore Golf’s ELIXR tour ball was selected and awarded – for the second straight year – a prestigious Gold Medal by Golf Digest Hot List in the $26 – $35 per dozen category.
Each year, Golf Digest does an intense testing of select golf balls in order to share with the golf world their findings of the best of the best. Golf Digest judges conduct their testing with insight from three independent panels. The scientists advise on innovation, retailers determine demand, and players assess performance. A product’s ranking is based on its weighted average across these criteria, with performance, innovation, appearance, sound and feel largely determining the total score.
The ELIXR’s unique core and mantle construction consist of a proprietary perimeter-weighted design. By shifting weight from the inner core to the outer layers, the ELIXR offers golfers more accuracy and forgiveness off the tee.
