Pellucid releases ’24 industry scorecard: 6 Birdies, 4 Pars, No Bogeys + 3 records set!
Pellucid & Edgehill Golf Advisors presented their 22nd consecutive annual State of the Industry (SoI) last week during the PGA Show to an in-person audience of nearly 100 and an additional ~50 online participants. Proving yet again that Pellucid/Edgehill aren’t “industry contrarians,” there was nary a red number in the wide-ranging, 90-minute review from Golf Revenue to the national weather impact figure of Capacity Rounds. The below image visualizes the key metrics “waterfall” designed by Pellucid and identifies those metrics achieving birdies (green) and pars (yellow). The SoI report quantifies each metric’s value and % change in the 70-slide PowerPoint deliverable:
In the SoI, Pellucid also identifies which of the above metrics were modern-era records as well. That said, the growth rate of many metrics has slowed after significant post-COVID gains which is discussed in the webcast recording (also available to SoI purchasers). So, how do you get Pellucid/Edgehill’s comprehensive and unique take on ’24 industry health and ’25 trends to watch and projections?
