Glass is Back: Revo Announces the Launch of Its 1985 Collection
New York, NY – October 3, 2019 – Revo, the iconic performance eyewear brand famously born from a NASA research project, announces the release of the all-glass 1985 collection.
When Revo was founded in 1985, its pioneering crystal glass lens was celebrated for its flawless optics and inimitable style. Now, the crystal lens is back featuring an innovative new process that encapsulates Revo’s signature NASA lens technology within two layers of glass for unparalleled polarized protection.
The collection introduces two new lens colors – Revo Blue and Smoky Green, and features six styles ranging from 80s retro-inspired frames with unique metal detailing to a classic sport wrap. Each frame will come in special Revo 1985 packaging. The retail price for the collection ranges from $249 to $279.
“We’re thrilled about the release of the 1985 collection, it’s an homage to the sunglass that changed the eyewear industry forever when Revo launched in 1985. Glass is back and better than ever.” – Cliff Robinson, Revo CEO.
Revo produces 100% polarized collections that lead the performance eyewear industry using its signature and proprietary Light Management System™ – a technology that manages the full spectrum of light including harmful Blue Light and HEV Light.
