Saint Andrew’s Golf Club Makes Major Gift to the WMGA Foundation

Hastings-on-Hudson, NY  — The Saint Andrew’s Golf Club, which was the site of the 2019 AJGA UHY/Celadon Junior Championship hosted by Marina Alex, has made a $20,400 contribution to the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association Foundation. This gift was made possible by the fundraising effort that supported the event, a portion of which was made available for donation to a qualifying local golf program of the Club’s choosing.

Over the past decade, Saint Andrew’s—America’s oldest golf club and a founding member of the USGA—has contributed approximately $500,000 to programs dedicated to the advancement of the game.

The private club, which offers college and tiered young adult memberships, serves as the home course for the St. John’s University women’s team, the Columbia University men’s team, and three high school golf programs.
