The Willmoore H. Kendall Scholarship was established in memory of Club Management Association of America (CMAA) 1998 President Willmoore “Bill” Kendall, CCM. Kendall was well-known for his heartfelt openness to mentoring aspiring professionals in the industry. He was a strong supporter of CMAA and dedicated countless hours as a Chapter and National volunteer. This highly competitive scholarship provides funding for club management professionals to complete all the courses needed to obtain their Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation.
“The CCM designation is the internationally recognized mark of professionalism in club management,” said CMAA President and CEO Jeff Morgan, FASAE, CAE. “Recipients of this valuable and competitive scholarship receive financial support to advance their professional career goals by attending CMAA’s Business Management Institutes (BMI) as well as the Certification Review Course—all vital to achieving the CCM designation.”
