BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Playing SteelFiber shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, three big names in golf delivered three T3’s this weekend at the American Family Insurance Championship on the Champions Tour and the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship on the LPGA Tour.
Playing SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in his irons, the well-known European Hall of Famer finished strong with a low final round of 64 and a share of third-place at the American Insurance Championship. Another Champions Tour favorite – who is a former World No. 1, Masters Tournament champion and two-time winner of the Players Championship – played SteelFiber i110 in his irons and hybrid for his own T3 finish. On the LPGA Tour, the 22-year-old Australian pro who was the Number One ranked amateur golfer in 2014 played SteelFiber i80 graphite shafts in her irons to score her T3 finish at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Also at the event, two players scored T9 finishes with SteelFiber i80 and SteelFiber J-series shafts.
