Students’ Summer 2024 collection was inspired by the star of our universe, the sun. The summertime offers us longer days, and a new profound happiness with time to focus on personal development. Oftentimes, we spark and rekindle the projects we’ve set aside. Or devote ourselves back to dialing in the golf swing. Whether you’re walking down Soho, meddling to Sade “By Your Side” or strolling down to the local Whole Foods to pick up fruits on Abbot Kinney, we simply just want to be outside. The summer offers us an abundance of time, space, and is… just…more vibrant.
In this summer collection, we played with butterfly motifs, sun design patterns, vibrant signature Students color pallets and even got inspired by 1980s construction and landscape company logos; when you typically see house projects being built or your landscaper just giving a tad bit more care. The Sun is the star at the center of our universe. The sun’s energy emits from its surface as light, ultraviolet, and infrared radiation, providing most of the energy for life on Earth.
The sun is also the star during the summer. We too get a boost from the sun’s radiant energy. Man, we’re thankful, we’re children of the sun. This collection is scheduled to release online and Students’ global retailers on June 15 @ 9 AM PST.
In addition, on Monday, June 17th, 2024, Students & fashion and culture stalwart Bodega are hosting an industry golf tournament titled “Field Trip: Paris” at RCF la Boulie in Paris to kickstart Paris Fashion Week. Students and Bodega’s affiliated brands, partnerships, collaborators, friends and family, and the industry’s best retailers are in attendance.
