SAN DIEGO, CA – Sunday Golf, the fastest growing golf bag manufacturer, has launched an investment campaign for golfers of all backgrounds to become an owner in the company. Using the WeFunder platform, investors will be provided with portions of equity in the company in a groundbreaking move in the golf industry. Sunday Golf is looking to raise $1.2 million on a $15 million pre-money valuation and has already raised over $700K of the amount from friends, family, and customers to date.

“Golf is a game for everyone.  And our mission to make golf more fun and accessible for everyone is no different,” said Ronan Galvin, CEO and co-founder of Sunday Golf. “Sunday Golf is a brand for the rest of us. And thanks to the WeFunder platform we are able to be true to our mission by allowing our customers and golf community at large to share in our success.”

Since launching in 2020, Sunday Golf has sold over 100,000 bags and has seen 40% year-over-year growth. The company’s products are widely available in major golf retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, PGA Tour Superstore, Worldwide Golf Shops and Scheels.

Public investors will receive preferred stock in the company as non-lead investors. The company plans on allocating the funds towards key sales and marketing hires, marketing initiatives, inventory and product development and operating costs.

Sunday Golf first burst on the scene with the category creating Loma bag, a minimalist-designed golf bag designed for par 3 courses, walking rounds and driving range practice sessions. It weighs less than two pounds and carries six clubs. Sunday Golf’s lineup of lightweight golf bags also includes the newly launched midsize Loma XL and El Camino bags along with the most recent full-sized Ryder 23 bag.
