The JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro Returns to Wilshire Country Club in 2027

June 9, 2026

LOS ANGELES – Tournament officials announced today that historic Wilshire Country Club will return to host the LPGA Tour at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro on April 12-18, 2027.

The original host of the JM Eagle LA Championship and a longtime LPGA Tour host dating back to 2018, Wilshire Country Club recently completed a multi-million-dollar course restoration and comprehensive upgrade project that began in late 2024. The course restoration, managed by renowned course architect Kyle Philips, honors the integrity of Norman Macbeth’s vision by refreshing the grounds for the modern era while preserving the character that has defined Wilshire’s championship reputation for more than a century. The restoration features a completely new irrigation system, for which JM Eagle donated the irrigation, drainage and water pipes for the entire project.

“The stage is set for the JM Eagle LA Championship to return to Wilshire Country Club and to continue writing its chapter as the premier event on the LPGA Tour,” said Walter Wang, CEO of JM Eagle. “Wilshire Country Club has a rich history in Los Angeles, and we look forward to continuing to make a lasting impact on and off the golf course in elevating the world’s greatest female golfers as they pursue their dreams on the LPGA Tour.”

“Wilshire Country Club has been a tremendous partner to the LPGA Tour, and we are excited to bring the world’s best professional golfers back to Hollywood in 2027,” said Tim Erensen, managing partner for Outlyr, tournament operator for the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. “We want to thank our friends at El Caballero Country Club for graciously hosting the JM Eagle LA Championship the last two years. The club was a terrific partner, and we are very appreciative of their support.”

Wilshire Country Club has a long history of hosting professional golf events and is one of the select few venues to host events on the LPGA Tour, PGA TOUR and PGA Tour Champions Wilshire has previously hosted the Los Angeles Open (PGA TOUR, 1928, 1931, 1933, 1944), SBC Senior Classic (PGA TOUR Champions, 1995-2000), the Office Depot Championship (LPGA, 2001), LA Open (LPGA, 2018-2022) and the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro (LPGA, 2023-2024).

“Wilshire Country Club is honored to welcome back the LPGA Tour to Hollywood for the 2027 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro,” said Daniel Enzler, general manager at Wilshire Country Club. “With the significant course restoration complete, we look forward to welcoming the most talented female golfers in the world to our club and showcasing our hidden gem in the heart of Hollywood.”

Hannah Green won the JM Eagle LA Championship for the third time in four years in April after holing a 12-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole and closing out a back-nine Sunday comeback. Green also won the event in 2023 and 2024, both at Wilshire Country Club.
