This year’s event will honor Mark O’Meara, PGA tour legend and local honoree Bob Lurie, former owner of the San Francisco Giants. PGA tour host Peter Jacobsen serves as this year’s event host.
Launched in 2008 and named after the beloved golf legend Jim Langley, The Langley is a premier golf and social event at Pebble Beach Resorts, honoring the game’s legends while benefitting PGA Hope. This program provides free golf lessons to disabled and able-bodied military veterans to enhance their mental, social, physical, and emotional well-being. The 2018 tournament raised a record-breaking $120,000 for PGA Hope.
The charitable two-day, sold out event consists of An Evening with Golf’s Legends at The Beach Club next to Stillwater Cove, where attendees have a meet and greet with the honorees. This is followed by The Langley Charity Pro-Am Tournament and an award luncheon the next day.
