Lake of Isles Voted No. 1 In Connecticut For Third Consecutive Year

Lake of Isles‘ North Course, located in North Stonington, Conn., is voted No. 1 in Connecticut on Golfweek‘s 2009 state-by-state list of “America’s Best Courses You Can Play.” This is the North Course’s third appearance as No. 1 in the state.

Bell Micro LPGA Classic shifts to spring date

The LPGA and the Bell Micro LPGA Classic announce that the annual tournament in Mobile, Ala., will shift from its October date to April. The event will not be held in October 2009, but instead move to April 2010, with the tournament and title sponsor honoring the remaining two years of its three-year agreement.
