APGC, The Masters, And The R&A Announce Creation Of The Asian Amateur Championship

The Asia Pacific Golf Confederation, the Masters Tournament and The R&A create the Asian Amateur Championship, scheduled to debut in October. The Masters Tournament and The R&A will financially underwrite and support the APGC in the running of the championship. The winner will receive an invitation to play in the 2010 Masters.
