Three-time major winner Vijay Singh, currently No. 10 in the Official World Golf Rankings, will play in the Wyndham Championship. Singh is the highest-ranked golfer to commit to the tournament to date. … Annika Sorenstam will play in the Grand China Air LPGA, Oct. 24-26 in Beijing, China. … The World Golf Hall of Fame at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla., will host its fifth Putting Championship this summer. The event is open to all amateur golfers in Northeast Florida, and qualification rounds will be held Saturday-Sunday, July 19-20, and Saturday-Sunday, July 26-27. The top 16 finalists will compete for the title on Saturday, Aug. 2. Participants will have the opportunity to win more than $10,000 in prizes.
