The Georgia Golf Hall of Fame announces that Larry Hinson of Douglas, Ga.; Johnny Paulk of Jekyll Island, Ga.; Darwin White of Key Biscayne, Fla., and the late Perry Adair of Atlanta, Ga., have been selected for induction into its Hall of Fame. … Hireko Golf reports that Andy Bean won the Champions Tour’s Regions Charity Classic using its Ghost Image tour prototype X-flex shaft. … The Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club in Naples, Fla., receives the “Pinnacle Award” from Successful Meetings magazine. Given only to those hotels and resorts that represent the highest standards of excellence, the award is determined by votes from corporate and association meeting planners. … Former University of Alabama golfer Steve Lowery is inducted into the state’s Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Lowery lettered at Alabama for four seasons, from 1980-83, earning All-America in 1982 and 1983.
