Northern California PGA, Total Golf Adventures Sign Partnership Agreement To Help Grow Game Among Youth

The Northern California PGA Section and Total Golf Adventures form a partnership to grow the game of golf among youth. Through the partnership, NCPGA and TGA will broaden the number of sites that offer the TGA National Junior Golf enrichment program throughout Northern California. There are currently five sites.

The course will open Oct. 1. … Ohio State hires Chris Yoder as assistant men’s coach. Golf Channel kicks off more than 20 hours of coverage of the British Open on Tuesday-Wednesday, July 14-15, with “Live From the Open Championship,” 2-4 p.m. ET with pre-event news conferences. A two-hour preview show will follow on Wednesday (6-8 p.m.). Immediately following network coverage Thursday through Saturday from 2:30-4 p.m. ET and Sunday from 1:30-4 p.m. ET, Golf Channel will break down each day’s action. Also, prime-time coverage will air 7-9 p.m. ET Thursday through Sunday.
