Peek’n Peak Resort and Conference Center in Findley Lake, N.Y., and the PGA Tour announce an extension of the Peek’n Peak Classic tournament agreement through 2011. The tournament purse will also increase from $560,000 to $600,000 in 2007, and will escalate to $725,000 in 2011.

Nike Golf Announces SUMO&sup2 Conformance Program Due to Manufacturing Variance

Nike Golf discovers that an unauthorized manufacturing variance occurred and that a number of drivers fell out of Nike Golf’s approved engineering specifications. There is no impact on the safety or durability of the product, but the company is implementing the Nike Golf SUMO2 Conformance Program, which recommends to golfers that they send their purchased SUMO&sup2 drivers to Nike Golf in exchange for a new SUMO&sup2 driver.
