This game will be available during all eight broadcasted USGA championships and will offer fans the chance to win great prizes throughout the season, including two tickets to next year’s U.S. Open.
“One Moment in Time” Payne Stewart AR Photo Experience
In 1999, Payne Stewart authored one of the most exciting and dramatic conclusions to a U.S. Open when he sank a 15-foot par putt to win by one stroke at Pinehurst No. 2. His iconic celebration is immortalized by a life-sized statue near the 18th green. It’s a Pinehurst tradition to take a photo and strike your best pose with the statue when on the resort grounds. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Payne Stewart’s iconic championship moment, fans will be able to use the camera on their mobile phone to take a photo with a realistic 3D rendering of the statue from anywhere via augmented reality.
