STUART, FL., March 31, 2011 – Ladies Links Fore Golf has launched a digital version of its popular Ladies Links Fore Golf Magazine, the only national women’s golf magazine written by women golfers for women golfers.
“This is one of the first digital golf magazines dedicated to women golfers, ” said Ladies Links Fore Golf CEO Lynn Stellman. “Providing our magazine in both a digital, online format and a traditional print format allows us to meet not only the needs and preferences of our wide audience of women golfers, but the needs of our advertisers and sponsors.
“The golf industry told us they wanted a digital magazine and we delivered,” added Stellman. “All advertising, promotions and golf-related activities featured in the digital magazine are ‘interactive,’ enabled by hyperlinks that instantly transport readers to sponsor pages where they can review and buy products, or to registration pages where they can sign up for golf events or activities.
“Advertising and promotions can be so much more effective in a digital format because you are able, with just a click, to quickly guide readers to valuable information, whether it’s an introductory video on a hot new driver, a sale on a specific product, or a newly launched television commercial,” said Stellman. “The digital magazine allows advertising to be more exciting, more responsive and, potentially, more effective.”
The first digital issue of Ladies Links Fore Golf Magazine includes 56 pages of news, features and golf instruction articles, plus bonus content, including expanded feature articles and instructional videos that relate to content in the print edition.
“Golfers learn in different ways, and we are excited to be able to link our magazine tips to video tips instantly, through digital technology, and thus optimize the learning experience for players,” said Debbie O’Connell, vice president of Ladies Links Fore Golf.
The digital issue features golf great Juli Inkster, LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan, Natalie Gulbis, and an exclusive interview with Nancy Lopez, who dishes on her divorce and life as a single mom. The issue also features women-friendly golf courses and the newest women’s drivers. Advertisers in the inaugural digital issue include Cleveland Golf, Ping, TaylorMade, SkyKap, Nancy Lopez Golf, Sycuan, Be the Ball, Sandbaggers, the LPGA and many others.
The first digital issue is being offered for free to readers who visit the Ladies Links Fore Golf website at LL4G.com. Future digital issues will be available to subscribers for $3.99 per issue, or will be included free for those who subscribe to the print edition of the magazine. The combined quarterly print and digital subscriptions are available for $14.99 per year.
