Portland, Ore. (Jan. 4, 2012) –Geareffectgolf.com, one of the industry’s fastest-growing equipment Web sites, will post live from the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. Geareffectgolf.com’s coverage begins with the Demo Day on Jan. 25 and will continue through Jan. 28 from Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center.
The site’s coverage will include daily features and stories that focus on the 2012 equipment lines from golf’s major manufacturers, streaming video from the Demo Day and news and notes from the show floor. Steve Pike, GEG’s new Executive Editor, will lead the coverage. Pike, who will be attending his 23rd consecutive PGA Merchandise Show, is a former business editor at Golfweek and Golf World magazines.
“The PGA Merchandise Show is the largest gathering of equipment companies and golf professionals in the world.” Pike said. “Because it’s a trade show and not open to the general public, we want to provide our readers with the sights and sounds of the show and give them an experience as if they were actually in the Orange County Convention Center.”
Geareffectgolf is part of the Golf Media Network, already established as a digital media mainstay in golf with its travel-lifestyle site, TheAPosition.com, as well as individual sites for more than 50 of the world’s best golf and travel writers, photographers, videographers, and broadcasters.
