The Xform 1 and Xform 2 Putters perfectly represent the new and contemporary Xform Series, a group of putters that combine modern shapes with state-of-the-art face technology. According to STX Director of Golf Steve Henneman, “The new Xform Putters are distinctive with their striking appearance, but the new insert materials and milling methods will make them a total success.”
For golfers who prefer a softer feel, STX developed a highly engineered thermoset insert that promotes the highest coefficient of friction in the game to maximize forward spin and provide unparalleled feel. And, for the traditionalists who want the sound, feel and response of machine stainless steel, STX offers its Xform Series with a 100% stainless steel face featuring a Deep Diamond mill pattern that increases friction while producing the soft feel desired by the best players in the game.
All Xform Putters are 100% machine milled from 303 Stainless Steel. The Xform 1 Putter features a modern shaped head with traditional weighting and tour inspired topline. A swooping profile seamlessly transitions the topline to the flange. The full offset plumber’s neck positions the golfer’s hands forward at address. The soft satin finish and distinctive milling lines produce an extremely elegant and glare free look. It weighs 350 grams with a loft of 3-degrees and lie of 71-degrees. The Xform 1 Putter is available with the newly engineered thermoset insert or the Deep Diamond milled stainless steel face.
The Xform 2 Putter is a contemporary blade milled from 303 Stainless Steel. A tour inspired top line accents the sweeping profile and caters to the golfer who is looking for a modern blade. A half offset flare neck positions the golfer’s hands slightly ahead at address. The specifications are similar to the Xform 1 Putter with a 3-degree loft, 71-degree lie and weighs 350 grams. The Xform 2 Putter is available with the newly engineered thermoset insert or the Deep Diamond milled stainless steel face.
The new Xform Series as well as the entire Sync Series will be showcased at the upcoming 2012 Demo Day and PGA Merchandise Show. The tenth annual PGA Demo Day will be held on Wednesday, January 25th at the Orange County National Golf Center. STX will be prominently positioned on the large putting green during the entire demo day. The company welcomes all PGA Members, retailers, and members of the media to come by and putt with of the new 2012 Xform models featuring STX’s latest face technology.
