LAKE MARY, FL (January 16, 2012) – The TaylorMade Golf White Out in New York, the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Village at the PGA Show and Harmon’s Heroes For A Cause with Winn Grips make up the Public Relations/Promotions category of the final ballot of the 19th Annual ING Industry Honors.
Hundreds of nominations from across the golf industry have been trimmed by sub-committees to three nominees in each category in the ING Industry Honors awards program. Winners in a dozen categories are currently being decided by an electronic vote of the ING membership. Nominees will be acknowledged and winners announced at the Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference January 27 at 1 p.m. at the PGA Merchandise Show in ClubING, Room 309.
A Q&A with LPGA Tour star Paula Creamer follows the presentation. The ING Industry Honors committee chair is Holly Geoghegan of Golf Marketing Services.

Harmon’s Heroes For A Cause – Winn Grips designed a special “Winn Hero” grip. The campaign included print advertising featuring spokesman Butch Harmon with a portion of the grip’s proceeds going to the Troops First Foundation to recognize honor and support US soldiers in uniform.
TaylorMade Adidas & Ashworth Village, 2011 PGA Show – Demonstrating its power and presence as a global brand in equipment and apparel, Taylor Made Adidas golf returned in full force to the 2011 PGA Show in 201. The company built a virtual self-contained mini-mall complete with a demo area, café and living room with a faux fireplace. The massive booth encompassing the entire back wall of the convention floor included equipment, apparel and footwear representing all product categories.
TaylorMade Golf White Out – To promote the launch of the white-headed R-11 and Burner SuperFast 2.0 drivers, TMaG teamed with Golfsmith on a “White Out” day on Feb. 19 in NY. To nationally launch the R11 Driver, TaylorMade took over 54th Street in NYC, the Golfsmith block, by creating a golf hole complete with snow, target, Sergio Garcia, Martin Kaymer, Mark King and Donald Trump. This event was featured on all golf websites, The Golf Channel, ESPN, CNN to name a few of the national media outlets generating mass coverage and the most well-known product in the industry.

The International Network Of Golf is a 21-year-old, non-profit organization whose membership is open to anyone in the golf industry, related industries and media. ING’s mission is to enhance and promote communication and education in golf.
ING is kicking off its 22nd year in the golf industry at the PGA Merchandise Show with many activities.
