Fort Wayne, IN – JumboMax Golf Grips, the pioneer of the USGA-conforming super- oversized grip category, is introducing the JumboMax Small Grip and two JumboMax Mid- Jumbo Putter grips to meet the demand of their growing market. Attendees at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida who go to the outdoor Demo Day or visit JumboMax Booth 2404 will be the first to experience the revolutionary grips and have the opportunity to add the grips to their product line-up.
JumboMax Grips garnered the attention of the golf world by offering golfers an alternative to the standard-size or “skinny” grips typically found on clubs. The super-oversized JumboMax Grip, with its patented design and larger diameter, provides maximum hand-to-grip surface contact for a tension-free, one-piece connection to the club. This in turn promotes relaxed grip pressure, more consistent squaring of the clubface, a more fluid and powerful swing, and the most shock-absorption for continuous comfortable play.
JumboMax’s new Small and Putter grips will bring all the benefits of the super-oversized grip to a larger population of golfers. Where the current Medium, Large and XL grips fit the majority of male golfers, the JumboMax Small grip will be the ideal fit for men with smaller hands, women and junior golfers. The Mid-Jumbo putter grips round out the JumboMax offering, allowing golfers to have a game-changing grip on every club in their bag.
“We’re very excited to bring our over-sized grip technology to more golfers,” said creator Mike Kachlik. “JumboMax grips were designed to fit the anatomy of the human hand in a way that feels completely natural, allowing the hands to function correctly and efficiently. Our grips do that and the result is better control, less effort, more comfort, and longer and straighter shots. And that means more fun playing. Now with our new +1/4-inch Small grip and new Mid-Jumbo Putter grips, more golfers can get more out of their game.”
Recent events have continued to bring attention to JumboMax Grips. In the first event of the 2011 Long Drivers of America Tour, competitor and current world-record holder (551 yards) Mike Dobbyn took home the first prize trophy and $10,000 after switching to JumboMax Grips. Also in 2011, 17-year-old amateur Bryson DeChambeau began using JumboMax Grips at the advice of his coach, 20-year PGA Golf Instructor Mike Schy. DeChambeau has since led his high school team to the Hogan Cup Championship, placed second in the California State Jr. Amateur Championship and landed within the Top 32 at the 2011 U.S. Amateur Championship.
Long drive champion Mike Dobbyn will be demonstrating his long drive technique during Demo Day on January 25 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. and will be at JumboMax Booth 2404 on January 26 and 27 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. and also on January 28 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
